15 Quay Street, Manchester 22.06.2010

CWC are pleased to announce the completion of the refurbishment works to 15 Quay Street.

 

15 Quay Street is a 6 storey office building located in the city centre of Manchester. The works consisted of completely refurbishing 19,000sqft of office accommodation, which is now served by comfort cooling.

 

CWC worked to provide flexible office accommodation design to achieve the recommendations of the British Council of Offices.


Sunlight House, Manchester 15.03.2010

CWC are pleased to be involved with the completion of the refurbishment of Sunlight House, Manchester.  The Grade II listed building refurbishment was undertaken for Apia Regional Office Fund with CWC responsible for the detailed design of the M&E services. 

 

Working closely with the client’s and Architect’s CWC designed the new direct and indirect lighting scheme together with the installation of a Landlord’s infrastructure to allow comfort cooling to be installed throughout the building.

 

The installation was completed by Mitie over a six month period.


St George’s House, Manchester 15.03.2010

The Grade II listed building adjacent the Midland Hotel in Manchester underwent a fast track internal refurbishment and fit-out during the summer period.  CWC were responsible for the design of the M&E services to provide high density call centre occupation for the incoming tenant.

 

Due to the nature of the programme, CWC worked hand-in-hand with project managers WHR and Contractors Oakwood and Konect.

 

The scheme was completed on-time and within budget


The Joshua Tree 15.03.2010

CWC are pleased to be awarded the M&E services design for the Joshua Tree Holiday Home near Northwich.

 

The charity, set up to provide holiday care for children with life threatening illnesses, aims to provide an extremely sustainable child-friendly caring and loving environment in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.

 

The design team led by architects Ellis Williams commences the detailed planning phase at the end of March.

SPS Housing 15.03.2010

Strategic Property Solutions have appointed CWC to carry out the design of the M&E services associated with their 28 unit housing development in St Helens.  The project consisting of individual dwellings together with warden accommodation and associated infrastructure, was taken to tender December 2009 and is due to start on-site in April 2010.
