Ben began his career in building services consultancy in 2005 and joined Crookes Walker in 2016. He brought with him an extensive knowledge of various sectors including residential, workspace, retail and data centres. At Crookes Walker and has gained particular expertise in the student accommodation market.

Ben now works for the Manchester office remotely from Somerset. He is committed to sustainability in his life as well as his designs; he is carrying out an eco refurbishment of his house and working to improve biodiversity and reduce flooding in his local community.

One of Ben’s main passions in life is sport. He has represented Yorkshire at tennis since the age of 17, captains the Yorkshire Men’s Over 35s Tennis Team and has represented Great Britain at padel since 2018. He is also a Parish Councillor in his local village of Croscombe, and chairman of the Play Area Working Group, who are currently refurbishing the village play area.
