David started his career by winning the CIBSE President’s student prize in 2005, with the invention of a novel building-integrated wind turbine with the University of Nottingham. Sustainability is the reason he chose to pursue a career in building services and has a passion for practical engineering solutions which he continues to exercise in projects today. He has been instrumental on a number of schemes with carbon neutral briefs.

David has 15 years’ experience in building services with small and large consulting engineering practices. His experience covers a broad range of sectors including commercial offices, mixed use, retail, laboratory, industrial and residential schemes. He also has significant experience in healthcare having worked on both larger PFI hospital projects and smaller ward refurbishments.

David enjoys an active lifestyle including running, cycling and walking, when he’s not doing DIY or digging up the garden.
