John Brittle
Associate Director - Key Account Manager

John has over 20 years’ experience in electrical design and engineering. He has worked on a number of major global projects, including King Abdulaziz International Airport, Hinkley point C (New Nuclear power station), Dubai airport digital asset management, Sellafield nuclear waste disposal and Arc Furnace re-build project for global Titanium manufacture.

His primary role at CWC is key account manager and duties include business development, winning work, building services decarbonisation strategies and technical authority oversight.

Areas of expertise include electrical services design, building thermal performance and compliance and low carbon energy strategies. John’s main specialism is integration of passive ventilation and cooling systems within mixed mode operation buildings (PhD). He was recently a subject matter expert for the development of Luton Airport expansion and assisted with rationalising a sensible approach to the new terminal energy centre and primary sub-station. This included large scale photovoltaics and ground source heat pumps.

As part of his continuing academia, John gives guest lectures at Loughborough University to postgraduate level and has recently developed a new electrical services module for their low energy building services engineering course.

One of his proudest personal achievements is completing the Flora London Marathon in 2006 raising money for Sense. He plans to complete the Great North run in the near future.
