We are pleased to announce the sectional completion of the new Vita student development at Circle Square in Manchester last week.
Students began moving into their studios at Plot 9 of Circle Square last Tuesday. This is the fourth Vita Student development in Manchester and sits alongside buildings 10 and 11 at Circle Square, sharing facilities them.
The Plot 9 building will house 384 students in luxury accommodation with superb views over the city. Excellent communal facilities include an onsite movie theatre with games and gym facilities in the neighbouring buildings. Plot 9 is unique to Vita in having mini hub spaces on each floor of the building.
CWC were responsible for the concept design to planning, providing enhanced performance services for the mechanical and electrical building services, and took on a monitoring role for VITA Group, overseeing the services installations through to completion last week. CWC also did the detailed design for the M&E contractor, allowing the client side team to share their experience and knowledge of the earlier design stages with the contractor’s team, enabling a smooth transition between performance and detailed design.
